Educational Qualification:
Post no-1- M.Sc. in Geology of any recognized University or Institution
Post no-2- Master of Science degree in Geology or Master of Science degree in applied Geology or Master of Science (Technology) in Hydrogeology of any University recognized by the University Grants Commission
Post no-3- A degree in Geology of any recognized University or Institution
Post no-4- M.Sc., Degree in Geology
Its equivalent.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Written Examination & Oral Test in the form of an Interview.
Examination Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.100/- (Rs.50/- For one time Registration Fee) through online by using Net banking/ Credit card/ Debit card or it can be paid at State Bank of India/Indian Bank. No fee for SC/ ST, Differently abled Persons, Destitute Widow of all communities.

Applicants are first required to go to the TNPSC website www.tnpsc.gov.in and click on the link “Online Application”.

Candidates can apply online by clicking on the “apply” button shown on the TNPSC website www.tnpsc.gov.in /pages/jobs.aspx. All the fields in the online application format should be filled up carefully.
Keep a scanned photograph & signature.
On clicking “proceed” button system asks for candidate’s personal information including ‘name’, ‘father’s/husband’s name’, ‘category’, ‘dob’, gender, ‘marital status’, ‘contact information ’, email-id, qualification details, and other relevant information.

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 18 years for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/ DCs, BCs (OBCMs), BCMs and Destitute Widows of all Castes, 18 – 30 years for others as on 01.07.2016. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (Plus Two) Examination, two years Diploma in Agriculture from the Institutions recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu or affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University or Gandhi gram Rural Institute, Din Digul District or any other institutions under the control of the Commissioner of Agriculture.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written examination, oral test and interview.
Examination Fee: Candidates should pay of Rs.150/- (Rs.150/- as Registration Fee) by online through the Bank (State Bank of India/ Indian Bank). Those who have registered in the onetime registration system on payment of Rs.150/- and received the registration ID need not to pay the application fee i.e. Rs. 150/- and it is enough to pay the examination fee alone. No fee for SC/ SC (Arunthathiyars)/ ST/ Differently Abled/ Destitute Widows of all communities.
