Name of the Post: junior associates (customer support & sales) and junior agricultural associates in clerical cadre
Age limit: should be between 20-28 years as on 01.04.2016. I.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1988 and not later than 01.04.1996 (both days inclusive)
Relaxation of Upper age limit:
SC/ST: 5 years
Other Backward Classes (OBC): 3 years
PWD (Gen): 10 years
PWD (SC /ST): 15 years
Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen: Actual period of service rendered in defense services + 3 years, (8 years for Disabled Ex-servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to max. Age of 50 years
Widows, Divorced women and women 9 years (subject to maximum age limit of 35 years judicially separated from their husbands for General, 38 years for OBC & 40 years for & who are not remarried SC/ST candidates).
PWD (OBC): 13 years
Persons domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir 5 years State during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989: 5 years.
Essential Qualification:
(i) For Junior Associates: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
(ii) For Junior Agricultural Associates: Graduation in Agriculture or Agriculture allied activities from a Government recognized university/Institute. Those who are in the final Semester/ year of Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview/joining, they will have to produce proof of having passed the Graduation Examination on or before 30.06.2016. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 30.06.2016.

Pre-examination training: SBI may arrange pre-examination training at certain centres for SC/ST/XS /Religious Minority Community candidates in consonance with the guidelines issued by Government of India. Pre-examination training may also be given to the women candidates applying under special recruitment drive for Tura (Meghalaya) and Kashmir Valley & Ladakh. Candidates belonging to the above categories who desire to avail themselves of such training at their own cost may indicate to that effect against relevant column while applying on-line.
