Age limit: should be between 18-28 years as on 01.01.2016. Relaxation of age will be applicable up to 05 years for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates and 03 years for Ex Serviceman candidates.
Essential Qualification: minimum 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Education Board/ University and must have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language.
Mode of selection:
Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Screening Test (PST), personality test &
Interview.
Application fee:
UR & OBC applicant: Rs.400/- and Rs.100/- for SC/ ST/ PH/women applicants. Application fee can be made through online & off Line mode. Application fee will be exempted to Ex Serviceman candidates.
Online Mode: Candidates should pay the fee through online by using Net Banking/ Credit/Debit card.
Offline Mode: Candidates have to deposited the money through challan in HDFC Bank counter or Police SAANJH Kendras.
How to apply: Applicant can submit online application in term of Punjab Police (PC) Recruitment through www.punjabpolice.gov.in. Online application start from 31.05.2016 from 09:00 a.m. to 21.06.2016 by 11:59 p.m.

Applicants are first required to go to the Punjab Police (PC) website www.punjabpolice.gov.in and click on the link “Online Application”.
Read advertisement notice before applying online.
Candidates can apply online by clicking on the “apply” button shown on the PC website www.punjabpolice.gov.in. All the fields in the online application format should be filled up carefully.
Keep a scanned photograph & signature.
On clicking “proceed” button system asks for candidate’s personal information including ‘name’, ‘father’s/husband’s name’, ‘category’, ‘dob’, gender, ‘marital status’, ‘contact information ’, email-id, qualification details, and other relevant information.
Applicants require to upload the photograph & signature.
Click on “submit” button at bottom of the page.
After summiting application, one application number will be generated. We advise that save for further use.
