Age limit: should be between 18-45 Years as on 01.01.2015. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ BC/ Ex-Serviceman candidates as per State Government rules.
Essential Qualification:
Clerk (Clerk-III): Possessing Graduation degree from a recognized University.
Clerk on Contract on Contract basis (Class-III): Possessing Graduation degree from a recognized University.
Junior Office Assistants (IT) on contract basis (Class-III): Possessing degree of:
(I) B. Tech in Computers or I.T. or Electronics & Communication Engineering/MCA/BSc. (IT)/ PGDCA or equivalent.
Or
(II) +2 or equivalent qualification + BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application).
Or
(iii) Matriculation + Polytechnic Diploma in Computers or I.T. or Electronics.
Or
(IV) +2 or equivalent qualification + DCA (Diploma in Computer Application)/ I.T.I. diploma in Computers or equivalent diploma in Information Technology or Computers/ Computer Science or ‘O’ or ‘A’ Level Diploma from National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology
Process Servers (Class-IV): Having passed 10+2 examination from the recognized Board.
Mode of selection:

Pay Scale:
Clerk (Clerk-III): Rs.5910/-Rs.20200/- + Grade pay Rs.1900/-with initial start of Rs.7810/- per month.
Clerk on Contract on Contract basis (Class-III): Rs.5910/-Rs.20200/- +Grade pay Rs.1900/- on fixed contractual emoluments i.e. minimum of the pay band + Grade Pay, per month.
Junior Office Assistants (IT) on contract basis (Class-III): Rs.5910/-Rs.20200/- +Grade pay Rs.1950/- on fixed contractual emoluments i.e. minimum of the pay band + Grade Pay, per month.
Process Servers (Class-IV): Rs.4900/- Rs.10680/-+Grade pay Rs.1400/-.
Application fee: UR & OBC applicant: Rs.300/- and Rs.150/- for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) for Class-III posts and Rs.200/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) for Class-IV posts for SC/ ST/ PH/women applicants. Application fee can be made through E-Payment by using Debit or Credit card(s) or net banking etc.

Online application start from 17.11.2015 till 11:45 PM and send their print out of application along with duly filled acknowledgment, E-receipt or E-challan, recent passport size photograph affixed the application (One extra PP size photograph), all relevant certificates and in an envelope should be super scribed as the “Name of the Post (mentioning the name of post applied for along with title of Institution e.g. High Court/ Subordinate Courts) through speed/ registered post to The Registrar General, High Court of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla–171001.

Candidates can apply online by clicking on the “apply” button shown on the HPHC website www.hphighcourt.nic.in. All the fields in the online application format should be filled up carefully.
Keep a scanned photograph & signature.
On clicking “proceed” button system asks for candidate’s personal information including ‘name’, ‘father’s/husband’s name’, ‘category’, ‘dob’, gender, ‘marital status’, ‘contact information ’, email-id, qualification details, and other relevant information.
Applicants require to upload the photograph & signature.
Click on “submit” button at bottom of the page.
After submitting application, one application number will be generated. We advise that save for further use.
